Dick Burke
Senior Vice President, Administration and Corporate Development
As Senior Vice President of Administration and Corporate Development, Dick Burke is responsible for the organization's technology operations, legal, human resources, communications, recruiting, and facilities functions, as well as strategic direction and operational oversight of HomeGain.com. He is also responsible for Classified Ventures' affiliate network development and corporate development initiatives.
Burke joined Classified Ventures as Interim General Counsel in May of 1998. Prior to joining Classified Ventures, Burke practiced law at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. and at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Burke received a Bachelor of Arts degree from College of the Holy Cross in 1986, and a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center in 1990.
Burke is married with two children.

Neil Hayes
Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
As Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Neil Hayes is responsible for Classified Ventures’ legal functions, including handling and supervising all legal matters involving the company and managing the legal department. Additionally, Hayes oversees the facilities functions at Classified Ventures.
Hayes joined Classified Ventures in 2002 as Senior Counsel. He has an extensive background in corporate and commercial transactions, intellectual property, and employment matters. Prior to joining Classified Ventures, Hayes practiced law at Baker & McKenzie and at McDermott, Will & Emery.
Hayes received an A.B. degree in History from Stanford University in 1993, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 1996.

Joe Giannetti
Vice President, Corporate Technology
As Vice President of Corporate Technology, Joe Giannetti is responsible for overseeing the strategic technology initiatives and delivery of the shared technology services which support Classified Ventures’ online advertising businesses. In addition, Giannetti is responsible for managing all aspects of the Corporate Technology department, including technical operations, employee support, enterprise data & business intelligence, application development, project management, and information protection.
Before joining Classified Ventures in 2004, Giannetti held the role of Senior Architect at Exodus/Cable & Wireless, where he was responsible for system and security architecture for both Internet startups and enterprise-class clients. Prior to joining Exodus/Cable & Wireless, he held a key engineering role at a business-to-business e-commerce company, and spent five years working for a large IT consulting firm.
Giannetti received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois.

Kirk Musselman
Director, Human Resources
As Director of Human Resources, Kirk Musselman is responsible for human resource functions across Classified Ventures, including employee relations, compensation, benefits, HR information systems, training/development and employee programming. Musselman continues to build on the company's reputation as “an Employer of Choice” by managing a proactive, responsive and credible HR team and partnership with Classified Ventures and its businesses.
Musselman joined Classified Ventures in 2000, and during his tenure has built the HR systems and programs to support the company while it more than tripled in size and expanded operationally from 5 to 38 states. With over 15 years experience, Musselman has held positions with Aon Corporation and WellPoint, where he focused on corporate benefits, compensation, information systems, communication and policy.
Musselman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Illinois State University and a Masters degree in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Chicago YMCA Family Camps. He enjoys outdoor sports and spending time with his wife, Cindy, and two boys.

Shannon Swierczek
Director, Communications
As Director of Communications, Shannon Swierczek is responsible for overseeing the company's communication strategy, including internal employee and external corporate communications, the company Intranet site, public facing website, communication and promotion initiatives, and public relations.
Swierczek joined Classified Ventures in 2004, and has held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Director of Marketing and Communications for HomeFinder.com. Prior to Classified Ventures, Swierczek held positions with CareerBuilder.com and CDW in corporate marketing and sales.
Swierczek has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Missouri. She and her husband reside in Chicago, IL.

Shana Sternstein
Director, Recruiting
As Director of Recruiting, Shana Sternstein is responsible for overseeing all recruitment initiatives across Classified Ventures, including promotion of open positions and talent management, candidate interviews, offer negotiations, and the initial onboarding process of new employees from the time of hire to start date and beyond. Additionally, she leads the recruitment team, and has supported the company during a growth of 175% in headcount during her tenure.
Sternstein joined Classified Ventures in early 2005. She has over 16 years experience in the recruiting industry, including knowledge in Employee Relations and Immigration. She has held positions of increasing responsibility with Corporate Express. She most recently fulfilled the role of Mid West Recruiting Manager at Grant Thorton.
Sternstein has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Drake University. She currently resides in Chicago, IL.
